PM visits road section in south – eastern village of Moldova repaired under Good roads programme

Chisinau, 22 August /MOLDPRES/ – Prime Minister Pavel Filip has visited today the section of road from Rascaieti Noi village, Stefan Voda district, rehabilitated within the framework of programme "Drumuri bune pentru Moldova" (The good roads for Moldova), the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
Pavel Filip visited Rascaietii Noi village in April, when the works began on locality road. He promised the locals that he would return when the portion was ready. The villagers told him they would expect him with pies, so today they did. The people thanked PM for involvement, but also because the road to school, kindergarten and medical centre is new. The repaired part has a length of 430 metres and costs MDL 910 thousand.
The locals in village asked PM to get involved and repair a 2 km section of the access road to village Rascaieti, which reaches Hlinaia, on the left bank of the Dniester. The Head of the Executive said the portion would be rehabilitated from the Road Fund (FR).
The Premier also discussed with people about the projects launched by the Government, among them: pension reform, reform of the system on disability, "Prima Casa" (First Home) programme, infrastructure projects.
Under programme The good roads for Moldova, it will be repaired 26 km in Stefan Voda district, worth around MDL 40 million. There have been already rehabilitated 16.1 km so far.
