MDL appreciates against main reference currencies by end of week

Chisinau, 23 August /MOLDPRES/ – The Moldovan leu (MDL) appreciates against the main reference currencies by the end of current week. Thus, within upcoming three days, EUR will have an official price of MDL 19,36, and USD will cost MDL 16,70.

According to the official exchange rates, issued today by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM), ESC cheapens by MDL 0,01 and USD by MDL 0,02.

The Romanian leu (RON) will retain its value of MDL 04,17, and Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) and Russian rouble cost similar as today, in the next three days, MDL 0,59 and MDL 0,24, respectively.

According to BNM's data, MDL appreciated by 01 per cent against USD in July, to 16.6972 USD/MDL, compared to 16.8621 USD/MDL in June.
