More new ambulances distributed to districts of Moldova

Chisinau, 23 August /MOLDPRES/ – There were distributed fourteen new ambulances today, which are part of 69 ones purchased earlier in 2018, in sub – divisions of emergency pre – hospital healthcare.
According to the National Centre for Pre – hospital Emergency Medical Assistance's information and media communication service, the ambulances were distributed to: Falesti, Sangerei, Drochia, Ocnita, Soroca, Nisporeni, Calarasi, Telenesti, Basarabeasca, Ungheni, Anenii Noi, Balatina (Glodeni), Razeni (Ialoveni) and Mihailovca (Cimislia).
The healthcare units are provided with modern medical equipment that allows for urgent quality medical care. The purpose of it is to renovate the ambulance car park of the Pre – hospital Emergency Medical Assistance Service (SAMUP) and provide modern medical services.
The benefits for citizens will be reflected in the quality of emergency medical services provided at the pre – hospital stage, due to increasing the efficiency of servicing requests.
According to official data, currently the ambulance car park of SAMUP has a wear rate of over 80 per cent.
