Moldovan PM congratulates Ukrainian people on Independence Day

Chisinau, 24 August /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Pavel Filip today conveyed a congratulatory message to the Ukrainian people and Prime Minister Volodimir Groisman on the Independence Day of Ukraine, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The premier wished welfare and peace to the Ukrainian people and voiced conviction that the Moldovan-Ukrainian relations will further develop in the interests of both states. "The traditional relations of friendship and good understanding between our nations will further strengthen the partnership between Moldova and Ukraine", the message signed by Pavel Filip reads.
Ukraine adopted the Declaration of Independence on 24 August 1991.
