Guard of Honor marched at military parade in Kiev

Chisinau, 24 August /MOLDPRES/- The National Army servicemen participated today in the military parade, organized on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine. Attending the event was also State Secretary of the Ministry of Defense Vladimir Iliev.
The platoon, consisting of 30 officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers of the Company of Honor Guard, was led by Major Vasile Ojoga, and the State Flag was carried by Sergeant Valerii Băţ, the public relations department of the above-mentioned ministry has reported.
This year, 4,500 Ukrainian soldiers with 250 technical units marched at the military parade in Kiev. Also, the event was attended by 13 countries - Austria, Canada, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Romania, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the USA.
Moldova participates for the second consecutive year in the military parade in Ukraine.
