Internet providers to offer content filtering applications with negative impact on children

Chisinau, 24 August /MOLDPRES/- Internet access service providers will give users the ability to install applications on content filtering with negative impact on children, according to legislative amendments which were published in the Official Journal of Moldova today.

The same issue also included the presidential decree on promulgation of legislative amendments.

Under the draft, providers will set a compartment on Internet safety information on their official websites.

Due to the new provisions, parental control over the content that children are viewing will be set up.

Currently, Moldcell company offers its users access to Safe Kids service, developed in partnership with Kaspersky, and Moldtelecom - the Safe Web service in partnership with Norton / Svmantec.
