Border police to work on regular basis during miniholiday in Moldova

Chisinau, 24 August /MOLDPRES/ – The Border Police (PF) employees will work on a regular basis during the nine days of holiday as to streamline cross – border traffic.
According to the Border Police's information and media communication service, at the most requested crossing points: Leuseni, Sculeni, Palanca, Tudora, Giurgiulesti – Galati, Criva, Otaci and Cahul, if necessary it will be increased the number of border guards, open all lanes, families with children, elderly and persons with physical defficiences will be subject to border control without line and be redirected to Diplomatic Corps (CD).
Also, it will be intensified cooperation with Customs Service (SV) as to implement specific border control measures.
Similarly, there will be set anti – heat tents at the exit and entrance to Moldova, where people will get drinking water and receive medical and psychological assistance if needed.
The PF urges travellers to transit all existing border crossings so as not to overload only some of them and avoid formation queues. Related to it, people can access application: Trafic Online (Traffic online), where there are presented data on average cross – country waiting times, in order to opt in time for a less crowded crossing point.
