Moldovans born on 27 August 1991 to travel by train for free to Romanian city

Chisinau, 24 August /MOLDPRES/ – The persons born on 27 August 1991, the day when the Republic of Moldova proclaimed its independence, will be able to travel by train for free to Iasi.
According to the CFM's information and media communication service, the action will only be valid on Monday, 27 August. Thus, the "children of independence" can enjoy a free trip Chisinau – Iasi – Chisinau and have surprises on the train.
In order to benefit from this offer, the persons born on 27 August 1991 have to present themselves at the Railroad Department (DCF) of Moldova, on street Vlaicu Parcalab, 48 in Chisinau, with an ID card and pick up the ticket.
Also, the train tickets to Iasi have cheapened since today. Thus, the third – class convenience ticket costs MDL 90, by MDL 42 less than before. There are also discounts for the second – class passengers who will pay MDL 100 instead of MDL 148. The ones who want a trip in the comfort class will pay MDL 130.
Additionally, route Chisinau – Socola (Iasi) is operated three times a week, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and not twice, as it has been so far.
