Thermal pipe supplying over 25 per cent of Chisinau inhabitants to be upgraded

Chisinau, 24 August /MOLDPRES/ – A thermal pipe of 200 metres long which supplies over 25 per cent of the Chisinau population with heat will be upgraded. The works started today and will last until 25 September.

For the purpose that consumers in Ciocana and Rascani sectors not to be left without hot water during the works, at Pumping Station № 01, a special system for supplying consumers in these sectors is implemented today.

In return, five residential blocks will remain without hot water throughout the works on street Vadul lui Voda.

Termoelectrica said in a press release that the modernisation is of particular importance for ensuring the reliability of heating system, as well as for the supply of thermal energy, especially for inhabitants of Ciocana and Rascani sectors during the summer period.

Also, the road traffic on street Vadul lui Voda, section of streets Otovaska and Dumbrava Rosie, will be partially suspended on 27 August – 25 September, ensuring one – way traffic at 06:00 – 21:00.
