Moldovan deputy PM meets with Deputy Head of United States Mission in Chisinau

Chisinau, 25 August /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Prime Minister, Cristina Lesnic, met with Deputy Head of the US Mission in Chisinau, Martin Martin McDowell, on 24 August. The event was also attended by the Head of the Politics and Economy Section, Anne Coleman – Honn, the office for reintegration policy’s information and media communication service has reported.

There was made an exchange of views on actual situation within negotiation process and existing agenda issues during the meeting.

A particular attention was paid to the process of implementing the provisions of Protocol Decision: "On access to international road transport of the Transnistrian transport vehicles not performing commercial activities", signed on 24 April 2018. Thus, it was specified that in nearest future, it follows the launching of registration points of the means of transport with headquarters in Tiraspol and Rabnita cities.

The subject of human rights issue in the Transnistrian region has not been left without due attention, as well as addressing the dynamics and exact results achieved by sectoral working groups.

In conclusion, deputy PM, Cristina Lesnic, thanked the diplomats for the dialogue, expressing gratitude to them.
