More young art lovers participate at painting workshop in Chisinau

Chisinau, 25 August /MOLDPRES/ – An outdoor art exhibition entitled: Summer School with Caesara Kolesnik, a painter originated from Moldova, established in Belgium, was vernised on 24 August evening at the National Library of Moldova (BNM).
The director of institution, Elena Pintilei, mentioned that BNM has hosted, on 20 August – 24 August 2018, the painting workshop for art passionate children. The workshop took place during the second phase of the Summer School with Cezara Kolesnik.
According to cited source, the first stage of the Summer School took place on 06 – 10 August 2018, in town Cornesti, Ungheni district, in collaboration with the School of Arts Ion and Doina Aldea – Teodorovici in locality. Project – The summer school with Caesara Kolesnik: Claude Monet – sources of modern painting, created by representative of Moldovan Diaspora in Belgium, is carried out within the government grant programme: Diaspora Engagement Hub, implemented by the State Chancellery throughout Diaspora Relations Office (BRD) and funded by Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
"The aim of this workshop was to provide theoretical knowledge about modern painting, especially about the influence of light on colours, as well as to develop the skills and abilities of children interested in painting. Inspired by recent series of works of great French artist Claude Monet, the workshop participants gave free way to imagination and experienced, being guided by noted painter, doing a work each on acrylic cloth. It was our first collaboration with BRD and we hope that it will continue in the future," also said Elena Pintilei.
At her turn, plastic artist Cezara Kolesnik said that there attended 25 children and youths interested in painting the two stages of summer school. Totally, there were exhibited 42 works.
The exhibition is about to reach the School of Arts Ion and Doina Aldea – Teodorovici in town Cornesti, Ungheni district.
