Yellow heat code expired today

Chisinau, 28 August /MOLDPRES/- Yellow heat code expired today, but the yellow code of exceptional fire danger remains in force until 30 August.

According to the State Hydrometeorological Service, temperatures of up to +28 degrees Celsius are forecast for the following days, in the north of the country, and up to +30 degrees Celsius in the south. In the center of the country will be +29 degrees Celsius.

However, at night, air temperatures will reach +17 degrees Celsius in the north, + 18 degrees Celsius in the center and + 19 in the south.

The exceptional fire hazard (Class V) of natural character and fire threat of forest strips and crops will be maintained until 30 August.

In this respect, rescuers and forest-keepers warn that it is possible to turn agricultural land, forage areas, forest vegetation areas, dwellings and household annexes.
