Yellow code of exceptional fire danger prolonged in Moldova

Chisinau, 30 August /MOLDPRES/ – The meteorologists have prolonged the Yellow Code of exceptional fire danger. It is in force until 05 September.

According to the State Hydrometeorological Service's information and media communication service, there will be an exceptional fire hazard (class V) on a large part of the territory of Moldova, with a natural character and a fire threat of the forest strips and agricultural crops.

The temperatures of up to +30°C, during the day, in the north of the country and up to +35°C in the south, are predicted for the following days. The centre of the country will be at most +34°C.

At night, thermal peaks will reach +16°C in the north, +19°C in the centre and +21°C in the south.

The sky will be variable during the day. Also, in the middle of next week, there are forecast rainfalls in the northern area of Moldova.
