Moldovan parliament to convene in autumn session in early September 2018

Chisinau, 31 August /MOLDPRES/ – The Autumn Session of the Legislature will begin on Monday, 03 September 2018. The Standing Bureau of Parliament (BPP) will decide upon the date of first plenary meeting of the new session.

The communication and public relations department of the Parliament (DCRPP) has said that in early September, the parliament members (MPs) will resume their work within the institutions of the Parliament.

The rules of procedure of the Parliament (RP) stipulate that the autumn session commences in September and can not be longer than the end of December.

The holiday is granted to MPs, as a rule, during the Christmas and summer holidays, pursuant to the provisions of the Law on the status of MP (SDP) and RP.

The Spring Session ended on 27 July 2018.
