International documentary film festival held in Cahul

Chisinau, 2 September /MOLDPRES/- The third edition of the International Documentary Film Festival MOLDOX began yesterday in Cahul and will take place until 5 September.
According to the organizers, over the five days 23 films from different continents will be projected for the first time in Moldova and Eastern Europe.
The first day of the festival started with a master-class cinema education in documentary film, performed by Monica Lăzurean-Gorgan from Romania.
On the same day, Alex Buretz's caricature exhibition was staged, which will be open throughout the festival at theB.P.Hasdeu Theater. Then several films were performed by directors from the country and abroad.
The event is organized by the Moldox Public Association, in partnership with Svenska FILMSTUDION (Sweden), the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, the US Embassy in Moldova, the Swedish Institute, the Romanian Cultural Institute, the German Cultural Center "Akzente", Goethe-Institute Bucharest, National Center of Cinematography in Moldova, Cahul City Hall and Cahul City Council.
