Tens of customs employees of Moldova receive state distinctions on occasion of professional day

Chisinau, 4 September /MOLDPRES/ - Tens of customs employees have been promoted to a higher rank and received diplomas and medals on the occasion of their professional day, marked on 4 September.
The diplomas were awarded by the Customs Service, Finance Ministry and the government.
Finance Minister Octavian Armasu offered congratulations on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of the foundation of one of the first institutions of Moldova. The official praised the progress made by the customs authority and expressed willingness to back all initiatives meant to protect the state’s economic interests.
Director of the Customs Service Vitalie Vrabie thanked the employees for responsibility and dedication with which they fulfill their office duties.
Attending the event, EU High Adviser in customs sector, Rosario de Blasio, emphasized the progress recorded in the institution’s work in the last years.
Festivities of providing distinctions took place also at those three customs offices working in Moldova.
Moldova’s customs authority was founded on 4 Septembe1991.
