Subsidies worth about 220 million lei provided to Moldovan farmers in first seven months of 2018

Chisinau, 4 September /MOLDPRES/ - About 217 million lei has been provided to Moldovan farmers in subsidies starting from 1 February 2018 till present. The subsidies were authorized for payment by the Agency of Intervention and Payments for Agriculture (AIPA).

The money was earmarked for an overall number of 1,762 files. The session of files’ reception will be active till 31 October 2018. People interested may submit applications to the headquarters of the AIPA Territorial Offices.

According to the institution, the deadline for submitting the file in terms of stimulating farmers for compensating the irrigation spending is 15 November. At the same time, the files for getting subsidies for stimulating the mechanism of insuring risks in agriculture can be submitted till 15 December 2018.

Farmers can check the state of the file submitted for subsidization online, on AIPA’s webpage.

The overall value of the National Fund for Development of Agriculture and Rural Development for this year amounts to 900 million lei.
