Moldovan economics minister demands facilitating terms of export for native producers of fowl, eggs

Chisinau, 05 September /MOLDPRES/ – Minister of Economy and Infrastructure, Chiril Gaburici, has asked the National Agency for Food Safety (ANSA) to take necessary measures to facilitate export terms for native fowl and eggs producers.

The subject was discussed at the meeting of Chiril Gaburici and General Manager of ANSA, Gheorghe Gaberi. The two officials reviewed the steps to gain the right to export poultry meat and eggs of Category B to EU.

"I call for action to be taken as to strengthen institutional capacities, facilitate the terms for developing capacities of indigenous producers with regard to export procedures for poultry and eggs and to examine the possibility of constructing a unit for processing of animal byproducts not for human consumption, achieving the necessary steps and conditions for accreditation of labs," said the Minister.

The Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure said in a press release that the meeting also analised the achieved progress within implementing the activities related to obtaining export right, as well as creating needed premises for carrying out the Mission of audit (MA) scheduled for September 2019.
