Works for restoring road in eastern Moldova district to start till late September

Chisinau, 5 September /MOLDPRES/ - The tender bids for the works on restoring the road G109 Delacau-Bulboaca-R2 will start on 10 September and the works will begin till late September.  

According to Economics and Infrastructure Minister Chiril Gaburici, immediately after the bids are assessed and contracts are signed, the works of the road’s repair will start. It is about the kilometer 9.130-11.330. Initially, 2.3 km of road will be rehabilitated nearby the Speia village and afterwards – 4.2 km in the Delacau village. The repair works consist in the full reconstruction of the road system of the main road, asphalting access ways to the Speia settlement and construction of pavements. The works’ cost is of about 30 million lei.   

Chiril Gaburici has paid more visits to the territory and has repeatedly discussed with decision-makers of the State Administration of Roads, local public authorities and decision-takers in charge of quarries of the region of the national road G109, in order to identify as quick as possible solutions to repair the road.  

According to the Economics Ministry, in order not to block the traffic, the road will be repaired in segments. This road serves the residents of the villages Delacau, Puhaceni, Serpeni, Speia, Telita Noua and Telita.
