Agenda of cultural events in Moldova

Chisinau, 05 September /MOLDPRES/ – Performance Macbeth, played in four acts by Giuseppe Verdi, directed by Andrea Battistini, Italy, is presented on 07 September at 18:30 at the National Opera and Ballet Theatre Maria Biesu. This show inaugurates the International Opera and Ballet Festival Maria Biesu, XXVI issue, on 07 – 16 September in Chisinau, under the aegis of Prime Minister, Pavel Filip.

Starring Ventseslav Anastasov, Bulgaria (Macbeth) and Hanying Tso, Taiwan (Lady Macbeth). The conductor is Nicolae Dohotaru, Artist of the People.

On the same day, at 18:30, Eugene Ionesco National Theatre opens its twenty – second season with performance: Heat in November by Yana Dobreva, directed by Petru Vuctarau.

On Saturday, 08 September, at 18:00, The Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes, directed by Iuri Harmelin, takes place at the Theatre on Trandafirilor street and at 18:30 at the National Opera and Ballet Theatre Maria Biesu – Romeo and Juliet, ballet in three acts by Serghei Prokofiev, directed and choreographed by Eugen Garnet.

Sunday, 09 September, at 11:00, Russian State Drama Theatre A.P. Chekhov presents performance: Cheburashka and Circus by Eduard Uspenski directed by Ghenadie Boiarkin and at 18:00 – A Night with Don Juan by Max Frisch and Eric – Emmanuel Schmit, director – Dumitru Koev.

On the same day, it is performed Show for Children Aladin at Luceafarul Theatre after One Thousand and One Nights and at 18:00 at the Theatre on Trandafirilor street – The Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes directed by Iuri Harmelin. The National Opera and Ballet Theatre presents Boema opera by Giacomo Puccini on Sunday at 18:30.
