Module of digital education for first form to be launched in Moldova first ever

Chisinau, 5 September /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Pavel Filip, at a today’s cabinet meeting, informed that a module of digital education for the first form would be launched on 7 September, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.     

”This is a very important thing, as we live in the information age. Although not everybody will become IT engineers, everybody needs skills for the use of computers and electronic equipments. Presently, one cannot be an active member of the society without these abilities,” the prime minister said.

At the event, 1,850 tablets will be handed to teachers due to teach the digital education module. The discipline is compulsory for the first form and is optional till the sixth form. The prime minister demanded that the Education, Culture and Research Ministry undertakes all needed measures for this module to be compulsory till the sixth form.
