Chisinau, 05 September /MOLDPRES/ – Pavel Filip asked the Ministry of Healthcare, Labour and Social Protection (MSMPS) to initiate an investigation into the irrational expenses incurred at the former hospital of Moldovan Railroad (CFM) after having paid a visit to the institution and he was surprised by the luxury found in a salon, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
"There are nothing more than Soviet reminiscences: that for the bosses we have to have separate medical salons with a music shower, a marble phone with 30 – 50 m2 of bedrooms, and the issue is that it occupies a third of the space in this block. You need to do an investigation to see how much money was spent unreasonably," said PM.
The Prime Minister also called for the reorganisation of that luxury salon to increase the number of beds for patients, noting that the institution would also be in charge for providing medical assistance to war veterans.
The former hospital of CFM was transferred to MSMPS in 2017.
