Moldovan commercial bank strategic partner of Maria Biesu International Festival

Chisinau, 6 September /MOLDPRES/ - The 26th issue of the Maria Biesu International Opera and Ballet Festival will start in Chisinau on 7 September. Traditionally, the commercial bank Moldova Agroindbank stock company (MAIB) will back the holding of this imposing cultural show as strategic partner.   

Thus, admirers of the lyric theatre are expected to come to the Maria Biesu Opera and Ballet Theatre on 7-15 September, in order to watch four famous operas and three ballet shows.   

MAIB joined the organizer – the Education, Culture and Research Ministry – in the invitation to enjoy novel moments along with outstanding personalities of the Moldovan and world opera.     

The gala concert due on 16 September will bring to the stage such personalities as a legendary lyric tenor, Juan Diego Florez, along with great soprano Valentina Nafornita and a soloist of the Bolshoy Theatre Andrei Jilihovschi, Mihail Dogotaru, Igor Turcanu and Ragaa Eldin.     
 
During more than ten years, Moldova Agroindbank has been supporting the only opera festival from Moldova, as well as more far-reaching cultural projects, “thus contributing to the development of the national cultural values and promotion of international artistic values.”   

Artists from Bulgaria, China, Egypt, Italy, Peru, Romania, Russia, Spain, Ukraine and Moldova will participate in the 26th issue of the Maria Biesu International Opera and Ballet Festival.
