Two cars in official column of Moldovan president involved in accident

Chisinau, 10 September /MOLDPRES/- Two cars in the official column of Moldovan President Igor Dodon were involved yesterday in a traffic accident on Chisinau-Ungheni route.

According to the General Police Inspectorate, the accident occurred after a Mercedes truck, run by a 40-year-old man, struck the official column.

Following the accident, Dodon and two members of his family were taken to the hospital. The truck driver, who would be guilty of the accident, also was transported hospital. The life of none of the people injured in the accident is in danger.

In this case, criminal proceedings were initiated to determine all the circumstances and make a legal decision.
