Chisinau, 10 September /MOLDPRES/ - The play Swan Lake by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, will take place at the Maria Biesu National Opera and Ballet Theatre
Also, the play, Madame Bovary, will be performed at the Geneza Art Theatre on 11 September at 19:00.
On 12 September at 18:30, the Maria Biesu National Opera and Ballet Theatre will host an opera in four acts Carmen by George Bizet and the play, Invitation to Waltz, by Mihail Drumes will be presented at the Geneza Art Theatre.
The play Schmuck by V. Levashov will be performed at the Roses Street Theatre and the play, Fools, by Neil Simon will be presented at the A.P. Chekhov State Dramatic Russian Theatre on 14 September at 18:00.
On 15 September at 11:00, the A.P. Chekhov State Dramatic Russian Theatre will host the play, Little Brother and Carlson by Astrid Lindgren and the play, Selfie with Sclerosis, by Alexandru Volodarski at 18:00. On the same day, the play Schmuck by V. Levashov will be presented at the Roses Street Theatre and the two-acts ballet Spartacus by Aram Khachaturian will be performed at the Maria Biesu National Opera and Ballet Theatre.
On 16 September at 11:00, the play Cinderella by Charles Perrault will take place at the A.P. Chekhov State Dramatic Russian Theatre and the play The Swineherd by Hans Christian Andersen will be presented at the Luceafarul Theatre at 12:00.
On the same day at 18:30, a gala concert will be held at the Maria Biesu National Opera and Ballet Theatre, in which famous singers of the international lyricism will participate: legendary Peruvian tenor Juan Diego Florez, Moldovan singers – soprano, soloist of the Vienna Opera Valentina Nafornita, baritone, first soloist of the Moscow-based Bolshoy Theatre Andrei Jilihovschi, Mihai Dogotaru, Igor Turcanu, etc. The 26th issue of the Maria Biesu International Opera and Ballet Festival, held in Chisinau on 7-16 September 2018, under the aegis of PM Pavel Filip, will end with this concert.
