Chisinau, 11 September /MOLDPRES/- Moldovan producers will be able to market grapes for processing only after obtaining a certificate of harmlessness from the National Agency for Food Safety (ANSA) and registration in the register of the operators in the field of phytosanitary.
Sources in ANSA reported that the certification of conformity of the grape lots with the sanitary norms shall be carried out on the basis of laboratory tests, accredited in this respect. At the request of the economic agent, the conformity can be further attested by the certificate of harmlessness. It is issued on request under the results of laboratory tests or on the basis of declaration on rules for use of plant protection products and fertilizers.
In order to carry out laboratory tests for issuing the certificate, the grape producer must address a request for grape sampling to the Territorial Food Safety Subdivision within which the grape plantation is located.
"Only after receiving the results of the laboratory tests with negative results the manufacturer shall be issued a certificate of harmlessness on the basis of which the grapes can be marketed", says the Department for supervision of food production of ANSA.
