Apartment buildings in capital to be prepared for cold season by late September

Chisinau, 12 September /MOLDPRES/- Managers of apartment buildings would complete by late September, the preparatory work of engineering systems inside the building for the cold season and to present documents proving this to Termoelectrica company.

“Preparing the engineering system for hydropneumatic washing and pressure testing of internal heating systems is essential to avoid technical problems related to the inadequate heat supply inside the building during the cold period of the year," the director-general of Termoelectrica company, Veaceslav Eni, said.

In dwelling blocks that do not have energy-related debts, these works will be made free of charge. The initiative belongs to Termoelectrica and is part of the campaign „Achiți iarna – fii răsPLĂTIT vara”, which was extended until 25 September.

According to Termoelectrica, the buildings connected to the centralized heat supply system can be connected to district heating services before the official decision to start the heating season is issued. This requires an official request.

Typically, the heating is delivered to the blocks in the capital when average air temperatures below 8 degrees Celsius are recorded for three days.
