Moldovan parliament to hold open-doors day

Chisinau, 13 September /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament will organize an open-doors day on 14 September 2018. The event fits into a string of actions dedicated to the International Day of Democracy, marked on 15 September.

According to the parliament’s communication and public relations department, starting from 13:00, guided tours of the parliament’s building will be organized. The entrance will be made based on an identity paper every half an hour, with preliminary registration.

On 14 September, visitors will be able to see an exhibition of institutions which report to the parliament. At informative stands, people will learn about the work of public institutions and the way they can participate in taking decisions.

A play zone for children will be arranged in parliament for the first time ever. Children here will draw, will solve puzzles and will take part in contests with prizes.

All interested people will be able to learn how to correctly compile a petition and will be able to leave messages for the MPs.

We remind that, this week, the Parliament’s Territorial Information Offices with residence in the Orhei city and Leova town organized workshops to discuss the way of people’s involvement in the decision-taking process.
