Chisinau, 14 September /MOLDPRES/ – In upcoming period, the Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM) will undergo several changes on how it works and be self – defined as a pro – Moldova party. announced leader of the Democrats, Vlad Plahotniuc, this evening after the meeting of the National Political Council (CPN) of PDM.
Vlad Plahotniuc said that during the 27 years of independence, the Moldovan parties "have been created and developed on geopolitical issues, and people have been induced that the problems of the country can only be solved if you are pro – European, pro – American, unionist."
"Many parties have divided the citizens into such categories, they have declared and acted towards a geopolitical vector, but no party has acted for Moldovans, pro – Moldova. The leader of the Democrats added that "this plan implies that party representatives must be permanently among people, work in local communities with the authorities there, and come up with policies and exact solutions to address the identified issues."

According to him, the citizens of Moldova have to decide the priorities of upcoming governance programme. "The voices of ordinary people will be the basis of our political programme," said Plahotniuc. "The Government needs to adapt its actions and priorities to the urgent priorities of the population. On it, PDM will come up with a series of suggestions and new projects in upcoming period. These concern issues related to the increase in salaries and pensions of people, rehabilitation of new roads, water supply of localities and problem of waste collection in localities," concluded head of PDM.
