Agenda of cultural events in Moldova for 19-21 September

Chisinau, 17 September /MOLDPRES/ - The Organ Hall will celebrate the 40th anniversary of inauguration and the 30th anniversary of the foundation of the National Chamber Orchestra by a festive concert, due on 19 September at 18:30. The event will mark the beginning of the institution’s 2018-2019 concert season.
The concert’s programme has works by composers J. S. Bach, L. W. Beethoven, F. Schubert, F. Devienne, F. Doppler, P. I. Tchaikovsky, A. Dvorak, G. Mahler, C. Saint-Saens, G. Faure, E. Elgar, H. Villla-Lobos, A. Piazzola, E. Lazarev, B. Dubosarschi.
On 19 September at 18:30, the Mihai Eminescu National Theatre hosts the first performance of the play, The Carnival, by I.L. Caragiale, stage management by Visarion Alexa from Romania. The fourth issue of the Meeting of the Romanian National Theatres will be inaugurated with this play. The meeting will take place within the 97th season of the Mihai Eminescu National Theatre, due in Chisinau on 19-30 September. Twelve theatres from Moldova and Romania will participate in the event.
A play titled, A Man Came to a Woman, by S. Zlotnikov will be staged at the A.P. Chekhov Russian Dramatic State Theatre on 20 September.
The play Our City by T. Uaidler will be presented at the Roses Street Theatre on 21 September at 18:00. At the same time, the play, The Letter, by I.L Caragiale, will be performed by the Bucharest-based I.L. Caragiale National Theatre at the Mihai Eminescu National Theatre from Chisinau at 19:00.
In the same day at 18:00, a symphony concert titled, The Magic of Panpipe, given by the Symphony Orchestra of the Serghei Lunchevici National Philharmonic, and soloist instrumentalist Igor Podgoreanu (panpipe), will take place at the this institution. The programme comprises works by composers P. I. Tchaikovsky, A. Alyabyev, G. Enescu, B. Bartok, G. Dimitrescu, G. Mustea, A. Mustea, G. Dinicu, G. Zamfir etc.
Also on 21 September at 18:30, the A.P. Chekhov Russian State Dramatic Theatre hosts a play, Forget Herostratos! by Grigory Gorin, and the play, The Dead Cities, stage management by Mikheil Charkviani, will to be performed at the Eugen Ionesco National Theatre. The play will be presented by Valerian Gunia State Drama Theatre from Poti, Georgia, which has come to Moldova for the first time ever.
