Ministry of education, culture, research of Moldova announces National Youth Awards 2018

Chisinau, 18 September /MOLDPRES/ – The Ministry of Education, Culture and Research today launched the "National Youth Development Awards" issue 2018.

According to the organisers, the contest is held yearly on the occasion of marking the National Youth Day (ZNT) (the second Sunday of November) and aims at recognising the achievements, performances and contribution of young people, young specialists and workers, as well as youth organisations from local level for the development of youth sector.

The winners of the National Youth Awards are offered the Diploma of Confirmation of the Award given in competition, Trophy and a cash prize as follows: Youth Junior of 2018 within local public authorities (APL) level I – MDL 12,000, young specialist of 2018 in APL level II – MDL 12,000, young worker of 2018 – MDL 12,000, Youth Local Council of 2018 – MDL 15,000 and Youth Centre of 2018 – MDL 20,000.

The terms for participation in competition are: The person, group of persons or institution must represent one of the five categories listed above. The person, group of persons or institution that has received a national youth prize in recent 2 years are not eligible for issue 2018. The selection criteria for each category are set out in the Regulation on awarding national awards and prizes for the development of the youth sector.  

The contest files may be submitted to the following address: Ministry of Education, Culture and Research (MECC) of Moldova, MD – 2033, Chisinau, PMAN (Great National Assembly Square) 1, 1st floor postbox, entrance from str. Mitropolit G. Banulescu Bodoni. Similarly, the file must also be sent to the e-mail address [email protected].

The files may be submitted by 27 October, 17:00.
