54 students from Alexei Mateevici College to be employed in kindergartens in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 19 September /MOLDPRES/- A number of 54 students studying at the Alexei Mateevici College in final year are to be employed for a certain period in pre-school institutions in Chisinau. The decision was announced by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research.

The issue was examined at a meeting organized by the General Directorate for Education, Youth and Sport (DGETS) of Chisinau.

Students will be employed until 31 May 2019. In addition to scholarships, they will benefit from salary. However, after graduation, college graduates will be able to re-start as young specialists in kindergartens.

Silviu Gîncu, head of the Technical Vocational Education Directorate, said that the students of the vocational school No2 are urged to engage as chefs in kindergartens in the capital.

According to the data provided by DGETS Chişinău, 387 educators, 182 nurses, 74 chefs and 40 dishwashers are required in 2018 at early education in Chisinau.
