Moldovan government to earmark 166,000 lei for repatriation of victims of accidents from Russian, Italian cities

Chisinau, 19 September /MOLDPRES/ – The government will fully cover the expenses for the repatriation of Moldovan citizens which suffered from accidents in cities Kaluga, Russia and Genova, Italy, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
At its today meeting of the Commission for emergency situations, the allocation of MDL 119,000 was approved for the repatriation of the six Moldovan citizens that lost their lives in the road accident in Kaluga city, but also the return of eight other persons which suffered serious trauma.
Also, the Government will allocate about MDL 47,000 for the repatriation of the Moldovan citizen that died in the accident in Genoa city, Italy, on 14 August 2018. The Moldovan citizen is among the 43 persons which died as a result of the collapse of a bridge.
