The team leader of the aforementioned project, Ala Curteanu, said that the medical sets would be distributed in the districts of Briceni, Edinet, Falesti, Ungheni, Orhei, Criuleni, Stefan Voda, Vulcanesti, Taraclia and Cahul. One set consists of: pulse oximetre, medical measuring tape and a device for calculating the index of body weight and a stethoscope. In all, 278 sets of equipment containing 834 units will be distributed. Their cost amounts to 5,700 euros.
„The endowment of the sorting room will contribute to a better diagnosing of health problems and starting the treatment of the patient with chronic disease; therefore, this will enhance residents’ access to quality primary medical assistance services,” Curteanu noted.
