Moldovan official journal roundup for 21 September

Chisinau, 20 September /MOLDPRES/- Decrees on dismissal of Minister of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment Liviu Volconovici, and Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection Svetlana Cebotari will be published in the Official Journal of Moldova on 21 September.

The decrees were signed by the president yesterday. On the same day, President Igor Dodon refused to sign the decrees for appointment of new ministers.

In this context, Prime Minister Pavel Filip said he would address the Constitutional Court "to seek a solution to this institutional blockage."

Two days ago, PDM leader Vlad Plahotniuc said that two ministers from the current government, of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment and of Health, Labor and Social Protection will be changed.

Plahotniuc said he proposed Nicolae Ciubuc and Silvia Radu for the two positions previously held by Liviu Volconovici and Svetlana Cebotari. Thus, Radu will lead the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection and Ciubuc – Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment.
