Chisinau, 20 September /MOLDPRES/ – The Joined Control Commission (CUC) has met in Bender city today, the office for reintegration policy’s information and media communication service has reported.
On the occasion of the International Peace Day, which is annually celebrated on 21 September, the Moldovan Delegation proposed to keep a moment of silence in memory of the victims of military conflicts and peacekeepers in the peace and security missions around the world.
It was further established that the Weekly Report of the Joint Military Command (CMI) on the Situation in ZS was not finalised due to the fact that the military observers from the Transnistrian region and Russia refused to include objective info on military applications by Transnistrian structures in ZS on 14 – 15 September.
The issue was reflected in the statement issued by the members of the Moldovan delegation, who voiced their concern about a new violation of the regime of ZS admitted by the military structures of Tiraspol near locality Tarnauca.
During the talks, delegation of Moldova requested explanations on the changes in infrastructure at the so-called "control post" of the Transnistrian structures located on the Tiraspol – Rabnita road near Dorotcaia village, Dubasari district, and warned against the admittance of the increase of number and equipment involved. The CUC decided that a group of military observers would go on the spot to document and inform the Commission of the situation.
In other news, the Chisinau branch informed CUC about the necessity of technical expertise at the bridges over the Dniester river, which will be carried out on 08 – 12 October by specialists from Moldova.
The CUC meets on 27 September.
