Appointed ministers to take oath today

Chisinau, 25 September /MOLDPRES/- Appointed ministers will take the oath today. The decrees are to be signed by Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu, temporarily acting as head of state of the country, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.

The magistrates of the Constitutional Court suspended President Igor Dodon from office when appointing new members of the government, after he deliberately refused to fulfill the obligations stipulated by the Constitution, rejecting twice the candidates proposed by the Prime Minister.

The Constitutional Court yesterday found at the request of a group of MPs the circumstances justifying the establishment of the interim president of Moldova in order to ensure the exercise of the constitutional attributions for the nomination of the candidates proposed by the Prime Minister of Moldova for the positions of the Minister of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment and the Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection and their entry into the exercise of their mandate.

Decrees signing ceremony will take place at the State Residence, at 16:00.
