Balti prosecutors to work in new location

Chisinau, 25 September /MOLDPRES/- The employees of the Balti Prosecutor's Office, District Prosecutor's Office in Balti and the North Offices of the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office and the Prosecutor's Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Causes will work in the same office.

According to the press service of the Prosecutor's Office, the new headquarters in Balti municipality was inaugurated today by General Prosecutor Eduard Harunjen, in the presence of Minister of Justice Victoria Iftodi and the heads of the specialized prosecutor's offices.

The building was purchased by the government. The decision on the free delivery of real estate from the management of the General Directorate for Administration of Government buildings to the administration of the General Prosecutor's Office was taken by the government one year ago.

The action results from the goals of the Justice Sector Reform Strategy and the Strategic Development Plan of the Prosecutor's Office for 2016-2020, meant to optimize administration, management and use of public property.
