Irrigation system to be set in Stefan cel Mare public garden of Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 5 October /MOLDPRES/ - An irrigation system will be set in the Stefan cel Mare public garden of Chisinau.
According to the Chisinau city hall, the works for setting the irrigation system will start next week and will be carried out till 15 December 2018.
The overall cost of the project is 3.5 million lei, with the financial sources provided for in the municipal budget for this year.
The Stefan cel Mare public garden is the first park from Chisinau due to have such an irrigation system. The system will monitor the humidity of the soil and the air temperature and will separately work for the irrigation of decorative plants, turf, flower beds and trees, as it will include the use of tractors with cistern for irrigation.
In 2019, the turf of the Stefan cel Mare public garden will be re-established as well. Also, next year, decision-makers plan to set irrigation systems in the public garden Cathedral’s Park, as well as on the alley on the Grigore Vieru blvd.
