Moldova to organise round table with potential foreign investors

Chisinau, 05 October /MOLDPRES/ – Moldova will organise a round table with potential foreign investors to present the benefits of business development in Moldova. The statement was made by the Minister of Economy and Infrastructure, Chiril Gaburici, in an exclusive interview to agency.
The official said that a decision in this regard was taken in the framework of the Third World Affairs Forum, on boosting the development and economic cooperation of the 3SI countries, held in Bucharest, Romania, on 17 – 18 September.
"At event we had a series of meetings with the business people that we also discussed about IT segment. I had a meeting with representatives of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Romania, who have a lot of IT companies with very strong international names in their portfolio of clients. Thus, in the near future, we will organise a roundtable with them, in which we will expose the advantages that our country can offer," said Gaburici.
The minister specified that the Forum also discussed energy connections (electricity and gas) and connections throughout access roads such as roads and railroads. "We believe that in the future we will develop the dialogue on these issues and achieve tangible results," said Chiril Gaburici.
The Minister of Economy and Infrastructure presented the potential for cooperation with the neighbouring countries in the 3SI region on the digital, energy and infrastructure domains within the Forum, and Moldovan delegation members exposed investment opportunities, including Free Economic Zones (ZEL) and fiscal facilities, Industrial Parks and IT Parks, which offers attractive conditions for foreign investors in Moldova.
