Physicians inform about health condition of patients injured in blast in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 8 October /MOLDPRES/ - A 33-years-old woman who suffered in the wake of a blast which took place in a block of flats in Chisinau is in a serious, yet stable condition. At the same time, physicians informed that the state of the fireman was stable.
According to the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry, the 33-year-old woman is hospitalized at the Emergency Medicine Institute, at the Reanimation section, with the diagnosis of severe injuries and combustion of hands and legs.
At the same time, a 32-year-old fireman with concomitant injuries, blast injury of chest and non-penetrating trauma of the abdominal cavity is hospitalized in the section of concomitant injuries for monitoring and continuing the treatment. At present, the patient’s health condition is stable
On 7 October, another woman hit in the wake of the explosion appealed to medical assistance. She was diagnosed with cranio-cerebral trauma. Presently, her health condition is of medium seriousness and she is hospitalized to continue treatment.
Also, a person with post-stress reactions is put in the Sfanta Treime (Holy Trinity) Municipal Hospital and is under supervision of physicians.
Also, eight persons who had remained without dwellings in the wake of the blast were accommodated at the former hospital of the Railways, where they enjoy medical and psychological assistance.
An explosion took place in a block of flats in the Rascani district of the Moldovan capital on 6 October evening. So far, there are four persons dead in the wake of the explosion. The cabinet said it would earmark by 50,000 lei to the families of the dead persons. The Chisinau Municipal Council ruled to allocate ten million lei to carry out repair works at the building. Today, also President Igor Dodon said that the charity Foundation Din Suflet (Wholeheartedly) of the First Lady would provide support to those hit by the tragedy. Also, following the blast, more citizens mobilized themselves, organized collections of funds to provide food and shelter to victims.
