Moldovan foreign minister meets Armenian counterpart

Chisinau, 9 October /MOLDPRES/- The enlargement of the relations between Moldova and Armenia, as well as the bilateral cooperation within the various regional and international organizations were discussed by Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Tudor Ulianovschi and his Armenian counterpart, Zahrab Mnatsakanyan, on the sidelines ofthe Ministerial Conference of Francophonie, held in Yerevan, the MAEIE’s press service has reported.
The officials have reviewed the current stage of bilateral relations, noting the existence of an unused potential in the Moldovan-Armenian relations. In this context, the ministers advocated boosting the dialogue on the foreign ministries, intensifying the trade-economic exchanges and starting the work of the intergovernmental commission for commercial and economic cooperation.
Referring to the collaboration in various international organizations, Tudor Ulianovschi and Zahrab Mantsakanyan have found that the Francophonie Ministerial is an eloquent example of cooperation between Moldova and Armenia, being an efficient platform for an exchange of views and experience in one area or another.
