Chisinau, 10 October /MOLDPRES/ – The heating season in Chisinau will start on 15 October.
According to the Chisinau city hall’s information and media communication service, over the next few days, housing managers, economic agents, as well as other consumers will prepare the buildings for receiving the heating agent.
Interviewed by agency, head of the Communication and Public Relations Department of the Termoelectrica SA, Elena Junghina, said that, for connection to heat by 15 October, the administrators of the blocks can submit applications to Termoelectrica S.A.
"The locals decide individually to connect the block to heat. In this case, people need to notify the administrator of the block. In order to connect to the thermal agent, it is not necessary to collect the signatures, but only for the administrator of the block to submit to Termoelectrica S.A. a request and the technical passport for the connection to the heat. Subsequently, within three hours, the block will be connected to the thermal agent. It will benefit from heat even if some tenants have debts. The procedure is also valid for public institutions in the capital," said Elena Junghina.
In 2017, delivery of the heating agent to Chisinau municipality began in the first part of October. Most often, the municipal authorities sign the provision of heat connection when average temperatures reach below 08°C.
"Termoelectrica" S.A. annually supplies 4,500 objects, out of which 2,900 are residential blocks (over 208 thousand apartments), 870 economic agents, 140 kindergartens, 160 schools and high schools, 70 medical institutions and 90 higher education institutions.
For the following days, meteorologists forecast stable weather condition. The temperatures will reach at +22°C during the day in the south, and at night the thermometers will indicate a minimum of up to +05°C in the north of Moldova.
