Moldovan parliament to operate amendments to law on civil servant

Chisinau, 11 October /MOLDPRES/- The civil servant with special status within the Interior Ministry, whose position has moved from the category of officers to non-commissioned officers, will be able to keep the degree of officer. The parliament approved a draft law in this regard in first reading.

The initiative belongs to a group of MPs and aims at modernizing human resources management, streamlining the interinstitutional transfers of specialists, which will help delimit the managerial staff's skills from the executive staff.

At the same time, the proposed legislative amendments will ensure the legal and social protection of the staff in the subdivisions of the ministry.

To become a law, the draft is to be voted in final reading.
