Traders to be forced to collect waste from their work

Chisinau, 11 October /MOLDPRES/- Traders will be obliged to collect the waste from their work. A draft law in this regard was approved today by the parliament in first reading.
Under the draft, local councils could have the right to establish prohibitions and requirements on waste management by the trade units, operating within the local public administration authority.
At the same time, traders will be required to ensure, on their behalf, the collection, storage and transportation of waste resulting from trade in accordance with the waste management legislation.
