Employees of Moldova's State Protection and Guard Service to benefit from allowances for house rent starting from 2019

Chisinau, 11 October /MOLDPRES/ - The employees of the State Protection and Guard Service (SPPS) will benefit from right to compensation of expenses for renting a dwelling on the period of work. The majority of the MPs today approved a draft law to this effect in the first reading.

Under the draft, the allowance for renting the dwelling will be provided to the protection officer, if a company-owned apartment cannot be provided to him/her. The size of the allowance and the way of providing it is to be established by the cabinet. The spending for renting the dwellings will start being compensating as of 1 January 2019.

Estimations show that about 2.880 million lei is necessary to be annually allocated to implement this guarantee.
