Last deadline for paying tax on real estate expires on 15 October in Moldova

Chisinau, 11 October /MOLDPRES/ – The persons who have not yet paid real estate tax for 2018 can do it until 15 October 2018, when it expires the last deadline announced for this purpose.

According to the Chisinau city hall’s information and media communication service, the tax obligation is honoured with the Payment Notice directly to the postal, banking or governmental electronic payment service www.mpay.gov.md or by visiting the services.fisc.md web site.

The pensioners are exempted from real estate tax. The ones which will not pay the tax on time, risk penalties, including the seizure of private property.

The taxpayers had the opportunity to pay the first real estate tax rate for 2018 with a discount of 15 per cent until 15 August 2018. According to the State Tax Service’s information and media communication service in middle of August, almost 70 per cent of taxpayers paid real estate tax by 02 July.
