Chisinau, 11 October /MOLDPRES/ - The use of liquid gas cylinders in the work of mobile and stationary trade units from Chisinau municipality has been banned. The acting general mayor of Chisinau, Ruslan Codreanu, signed an instruction to this effect today.
Thus, the gas cylinders could no longer be used in stalls, stands, specialized truck-bed kiosks, tows, trade-type caravans, booths, counters and automatic apparatus for sales. The decision was taken as a result of the illegal use by some economic agents of liquid gas cylinders in the work of trade units, the Chisinau city hall said.
According to the instruction by the acting general mayor of Chisinau, the capital’s district praetor’s offices will evacuate the temporary mobile and stationary trade units which use liquid gas cylinders.
The actions take place after an explosion occurred in Chisinau last week, in the wake of which four people died.
