Foreigners invited by central authorities to be exempted from certain documents for visa processing

Chisinau, 12 October /MOLDPRES/- All foreign citizens invited by the government or by the central administration authorities will be exempted from the need to hold an invitation to the entry visa on the territory of the Republic of Moldova. The parliament voted today a draft amendment to the law on aliens in the Republic of Moldova in first reading.

The amendments will help increase the flow of private people and legal entities who will visit Moldova, which will facilitate economic cooperation and attract investment. Many foreign businessmen and multinational companies will set direct contacts with business and authorities from Moldova.

At present, only foreign citizens invited by the government or central administration authorities are exempted from invitations in the context of investment projects of interest to the national economy.
