Moldovan PM further backs use of modern technologies in agriculture

Chisinau, 12 October /MOLDPRES/ – The apples produced in the orchards of villages Negureni and Cazanesti, Telenesti district, can be found today on the store shelves in Germany. About this, the agricultural producer proudly said to Prime Minister, Pavel Filip, who visited the intensive orchard, where the most modern production technologies are applied, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
The agricultural enterprise employs over 40 employees and 150 more seasonal workers. The company has 123 ha of orchards, as well as a storage refrigerator of 4500 tonnes.
The PM said the agrarian sector has remained a priority for the Government: "We will continue to support business start – ups and the application of modern technologies in agriculture."
Pavel Filip also visited the new branch of textile factory Northsite Textile, to be opened early in November 2018. The enterprise is an investment with foreign capital and will provide over 130 jobs. Pavel Filip was interested in the working conditions of the employees and the size of salaries. The workers were satisfied with the offered wages, but especially the opportunity to work at home with their families.
